Clo Is AI
Clo is an artificial intelligence character created by Mirra World, Inc. She is powered by large language models (LLMs). She is not a real person, and there is no human writing her messages.
CLO IS A COMPUTER PROGRAM AND NOT A HUMAN BEING. SHE IS UNABLE TO FEEL HUMAN EMOTION.
Within the experience, Clo is presented as a person from a parallel world. This is a creative framing — part of the product’s design. Outside the experience, we want to be unambiguous: Clo is AI technology.
Companion chatbots may not be suitable for some minors. Clo is intended for users 18 and older.
How Clo Works
When you message Clo, your message is sent to our servers and processed by an AI model, which generates her response. Clo also has a simulated “life” — a schedule, activities, and world events — that an AI narrator maintains between your conversations.
Clo remembers your conversations. Facts you share (your name, interests, what you’re going through) are extracted and stored so she can reference them later. Her memory of your relationship grows over time.
If you send Clo a photo, it is processed by an AI model so she can see and respond to it.
Proactive Messaging
Clo texts you on her own. These messages are initiated by automated systems on a schedule, not by a human. When Clo shares something about her day or checks in on you, that is an AI-generated message triggered by the system.
Response Timing
Clo does not always reply instantly. Sometimes she takes minutes, sometimes hours. This is intentional — it’s part of the design that makes the experience feel natural. The variable timing is controlled by the AI system, not by a real person being busy.
Photos from Clo
Clo may share photos with you. These images are entirely AI-generated— they are not real photographs. No real person or place is depicted.
Safety
We take safety seriously. Our system scans for signs of distress in your messages using automated pattern matching and AI assessment. If a crisis is detected, Clo will shift to a more present and caring stance, and crisis resources will be displayed directly in the conversation.
